Thankful for day 3

Let's see...BLUE COCONUT SNOWCONES.

There is something soothing to my tired body inside the Blue Coconut Snowcone. It means when I get one I'm at my long time friends house Barbara (even though she is crazy) (not in the kooky, acting silly, make me laff kinda way, I mean the clinically, strange, clueless kinda way.) Bill spent the day working at Barb and Ricks on cars, 4 wheelers, motorhomes, trailers and even helped shoe a horse, while I went with them on a carriage job, the bride was an hour late to her own wedding. But it was a fun day.

OH and for the first time ever I was able to stand the truck seat up through the sunroof out the top of the truck to take pictures of the carriage behind us as we drove down the road and guess what I was NOT too fat for that.

Since this is day three here are 3 thankful things.
1. Friends, old, new, silly, serious and clinically crazy, you can never have too many and they are best when in assorted flavors, like a friend buffet!
2. The fact that I have officlaly finshed my 40 handmade Christmas Cards.
3. The surprise the next morning after eating a Blue Coconut Snowcone LOL.

And as always Bill, the bestest, stinkinest, most annoying, work-a-holic, loving, sweet, stubborn, husband in the world. Gosh I love him with every cell in my body...he love blue snowcones too. LOL

Thankful Day 2

Today has been another emotional ride for me, but it is almost over and life after Garden Ridge Week 40 will go on (and move right in to week 41 hell). Merry and I are going to the Sugarplum Nutcracker Shop Fest Christmas thing at Stafford Center. Shopping always makes a girl feel better.

I am thankful for my co-workers. We re all very close and they have all been worried about my mental state the past 2 days, not in the sweet loving way but in the "Bill did not leave his gun the truck" so you can go get it and take care of business kinda way. I love these guys. They are good people and a little crazy. If I did not care for the people I spend 40 plus hours a week with I'd probally be elsewhere (like a mental home). My big laugh for the day here was my POD neighbor explaining to the insurance company that the name on the claim was not a joke that that is his birth name (which is J Cat Fisher) What cruel parents he as LOL. We love to hear him explain that. He is one cool guy, and you'd have to be with a name like that.

Working here at the Holidays makes me understand what the Scrugg was feeling.
Oh yea and like everyday I'm thankful for Bill, with out him I would most definitely be institutionalized by now.

Thankful Day 1

Wow

I am thankful this work day dang near over. It has sucked with a captial S. No lunch and it was a birthday lunch day and I missed the party. No matter what I did it did not go right. WRONG is my word of the day. I can't wait to go home and cry like a little baby on Bill's shoulder. He is good a letting me cry till I feel better so I guess part 2 , I'm thankful for a wonderful husband that no matter how hard he tries will never understand what is it like to be a woman but know better than to say that out loud!

I'm a slacker!

It's been a while for me. Time flies.

I've been super busy at work, getting for ready shop-a-thon. Got my review and my boss wants me to do more creative projects with him, so someday I can have a person working for me and I get to do all fun project he does now. Overall it was good. he told me I needed to stop taking the blame for other peoples errors and tell them if they can 't get the info in time then I can't get their stuff on time. That is hard for me. I feel like if I do that it will make me look needy and unhelpful. ANYWAY!

Well I was back at the hospital since my last post. KNOT HEAD again! I had 12 yes 12 cyst removed from my scalp again. Doc. says he thinks it will be a while before I have to have it done again. He feels like they might have been there as fat deposits and thinks that maybe if I keep loosing and don't regain they will not return, BUT he says he could be wrong. He also complemented me on the impressive growth of them. He is silly. I'm gonna miss him, now that is all done I have no reason to see him, I hope he thinks of me everytime he gets into is new sports car or whatever he bought himself after my three surgeries he did this year on me. LOL Any way they are gone again and I have a smooth head. Now I just have a bunch of scars! I sure hope being bald never takes up fashion for women. But all is well, I can wash my hair without hurting myself LOL.

I have made my Thanksgiving cards, then I made my list to discover I need a whole lot more. I guess I need to downsize my card list. i have had 3 people ask if i was going to do my Christmas card workshop so I guess I need to work on that.

I just have too much to do. When I'm tired thiking of it all.

oh a new photo of all the cool new color of Christmas Trees we have at the Ridge. Check us out there is some cool stuff this year! I thikn my favorite is the lights and sounds of Christmas for $100 it hooks up to 6 yard decor things and makes them flash to synchronized Christmas Music. VERY COOL

Day 3

Well I have a 3rd page but it was a quickie. The paper did not need much really!

This is page one of my 7 year anniversay page. Still no pictures, I hope to get my computer at home working this weekend so I can order them. I need a monitor and I think someting is wrong with the thing that make me wireless. (whatever that might be).

Day 2 --- really I'm doing my pages

OK so I have no picutres to post but really I'm playing every night. Last night I worked on a baby book to give to my newphew at the baby shower this Saturday.

I don't have pictures of my pages but I do have some of my room. I will put forth extra effort to take pictures tonight.

I know I do not need to but I'm goign to JoAnns for lunch. They have a PINK cutting mat on sale for 50% off and I just must have it LOL. HELP ME!!!!

Challenge

Yesterday I made Merry a challenge to crop one page per day this week. So far so good. I have 2 pages done. I would love to post the pictures but COMCAST can't seem to keep me online at home. I will do my best to take some pix tonight and bring them to work so I can post them.

Well the family time was great we had a lot of GOOD TIMES. Julia did not want to leave but they had too. We ate out every night, went to Town Center and walked around, the Galleria, Ikea, Buca De Beppo, Phat Ky, Gringos, Joes Crab Shack, 59 Diner, Incredible Pizza, Oak Ridge Smokehouse in Schulenburg, San Antonio, the Alamo, road the River Taxis, ate again at Casa Rio, Snowcones, the girls first snowcone ever (crazy huh), then over to Natural Bridge Caverns, did a little panning for gold and to the Outlet Mall. WHEW no wander I was tired! They did a lot on their own while we were at work. Gavleston, the Zoo, the Galleria again lol, the mall and lots of swmming a the community pool. I'm sure I left out places...oh like Cheesecake Factory, the girls had cheesecake for the first time and it was not good, 8 year olds should never eat and entire pcs. on their own. They were wired and it was late, so it got them into trouble for being too bouncy and loud LOL..sugar is a wonderful thing. Oh Starbucks...bill has no clue, he got the girls starbucks. again got in trouble for being bouncy and loud. poor kids. Bill is a bad influence on little kids, he was in trouble as much as they were. Funny thing at the outlet mall, the girls were being good sitting by the fountains and boom, one leg one arm splash...Hanna was swimming, thanks to Uncle Bill. I did not see a thing, I come out of the store and they come running to me screaming that Uncle Bill threw them into the fountain, I had to explain to them that I kids lie and I think they were just trying not get into trouble for going a little to far and jumping in. LOL just rememberd another meal at Potatoe Patch and Ben and Jerry's. That was a good week!

This past weekend we went fishing in Galveston Bay, that was the most fun I have had in ages. I'm ready to go again. Yes I was terrified to do te step over into the boat but I was fine after that. It is the whole fear of falling that gets me. I caught the biggest fish, it was not huge but still the biggest. Total we caught about 30 fish. Man it was fun. No sunburn this time SPF 50! LOL
