It's all over!

Well my Gallbudy is gone and so it a hernia. The surgery was a breeze I did not feel a thing. Wake up ....well. I felt like I gave birth to a 200 pound gorilla out of my belly button. I'm doing OK today. Still sore but fully capable of getting up and around (at my own pace). Odd thing is I can hardly eat anything, like right after my WLS surgery, makes me wander if he cinched up my pouch too? How sweet would that be. I did not say at the hospital long. They did not have any rooms on the 5th floor (general surgery) and Dr. Ferrari told the nurse if I felt I could go home I could. Of course I said yes. 15 mins later I was in the truck! The best part of the surgery was when I getting changed into my hospital attire and they had to have me change to something smaller! Then the nurse had to go find a smaller BP cuff. It was a great feeling. 2 years ago they would have to go find bigger. The OR nurse remembered Bill, she was happy to see him. She told him he was the biggest person they had operated on, she was so happy to see how well he was doing. She said she wished she could see more after people b/c she usually sees them at a bad time in there life and it great to see how what they are doing makes people so much happier and healthier. This is all for today...25 days till vacation!!!!!
